About
Pharmacogenetics testing can help identify an individual’s unique ability to metabolize certain medications decreasing their risks for serious adverse drug reactions. One of our newest projects is called 50,000 Safer and the project goal is to increase access and affordability to pharmacogenetics testing for needy or vulnerable populations who may lack the support and/or financial capabilities for testing. We need volunteers to help us call on potential researchers and corporate funders that may be able to help support or fund this project. We also have a list of pharmacogenetics testing companies that maybe able to donate their services and volunteers can help us reach out to them too. For more information, please navigate to this website: https://safestdrug.org/get-involved/sign-up-to-volunteer/. You can also contact Mika Pollack at mika@safestdrug.org or 919-442-8453
